A pre conceived notion could also be called experience...a seasonal pattern is always a great starting point on a lake you haven't been on in a while, but trying to make fish bite the way they did in the past will frustrate the heck out of ya...LOL, if it was easy it wouldn't be so addictive, when I figure them out I punish them for the days they get it over on me !!!?..lol
