I've been needing a rod to throw heavy streamer patterns up here in Utah so I went with a short Helios 2 five weight. The rod was a complete impulse buy but I got an astounding deal so I couldn't pass it up. I'm typically more of a Scott and Hardy kind of guy but I casted this thing in the parking lot and it felt great.

I know the original $795 price tag keeps me from even looking that way.
