I go to Baylor and have lived in Waco a while. Today a friend and I were out scouting new spots for duck hunting and came across some little ponds I never knew about. While looking over google maps and looking for properties with water on them, in an attempt to find the property owners to speak with about getting permission to hunt/fish, I came across several "Soil conservation service site reservoirs". I have never heard of these little lakes and I found several of them outside of Waco. From the satellite pictures of them they look like some of them would be good for fishing as well. Does anyone have any info on these? I spent quite a bit of time looking online for info about whether they are public or not and found nothing.
(Might as well ask while I'm on here, any locals willing to point me in the right direction to some better duck hunting spots other than Lake Waco?)
Thanks y'all!
