Man, glad everyone was okay... I am surprised the PA received that little damage.

This still blows my mind and glad you didn't get hurt and praying for the yak. I'm wondering if we need to get Brett to give up his TFF moniker to you. wink

Dang Hank.!! That's tough. Glad all the people involved are ok. Hopefully you're yak gets a clean bill of health. I'm sure you'd be able to see any career ending injuries it took on..... I got a jet ski trailer a few wks ago and the guy had several more. He gets them all the time, so pm me and I'll dig out his number if you're interested.

Wow, glad everyone was OK and I hope the kayak checks out.

One of the things I learned from commuting on a motorcycle for years was the value of keeping a gap in front of you. It wasn't for me on the bike (I could stop much faster than just about any car), it was so that I could "feed" space to the knucklehead behind me that wasn't leaving enough room. It's tough to do in a stop and go situation like that because you'll get a lot of people cutting in front because the space is open but it saved me from being run over a number of times as well...

I've taught myself to give extra space in general, but more so when I pull my kayak trailer. I know it's worked for me in the past. When I built my kayak trailer I made sure to put bright LED lights and mounted them higher than normal so that they're more in the line of sight with those behind me. Granted my kayaks sit high off the road and they're only in danger if a semi truck rear ends me. Situations like this is why I also carry insurance on my trailer and kayaks.

Yeah, we fish together a bunch already, and he's one of my best friends. I really hated to hear about his situation, couldn't believe it!

The rest of the story is that my son wrecked my wifes car Sunday night. Bad wreck for the car, but not for him or his little brother he had picked up from basketball practice. When I told Roger about it, he said he was going to stay away from me for a while because those things run in threes...

Tough week, but thanks to God we're all still safe.

Well, between the 2 of us, we have our "three" completed. Is it safe to come out yet?

Glad it was minor damage, and no injuries. I've dealt with all of the big, and small insurance companies. If she has Allstate, you should be well taken care of. They don't play around, and do right. I think you're a decent dude for being concerned about a young woman, who's in school. I would feel the same.

like the man says...if you're swimming in the ocean and get bitten by a shark, its not a shark attack. You're in THEIR neighborhood. If you're at home in your shower, turn around and a shark is in there with you...THAT'S a shark attack
