That are on his jigs. The heavy one piece plastic looped over the hookpoint.

First, do you find that you get hung up less often?

Two, do you get a better hook-up ration over conventional fiber weedguard jigs.

Just curious.

Haven't caught enough to say any thing certain about the hook up ratio, but I have not lost a fish. I do think it hangs up less. I think Mark has a winner with this.

I fish Ray Roberts and Fork alot. I ordered a few and as I lose my bristle style jigs they will be replaced with M Packs. If you do get hung up its usually a wedge and you can get it out easier.

As far as hook up ratio, I have not seen a decline at all but I just started with them a few weeks back.

Pick a PBJ and a PB Strawberry up and see, I bet you will be surprised what you can drag them through.

Hope that helps.

If your like me and set the hook on the bump of some brush, then you may have just lost a $7 jig instead of a $3 or $4 jig Lol - But I like them, I use the flipping and football head jigs quite a bit

They seem to get hung up a little less, I haven't noticed much difference in the hook up ratio.

I started using them last year. I've thrown them into the worst cover found just to see if I could get it out. I've only lost 1 to date and I could have spent more time and recovered that one (I think). Hook up is just as efficient as any other jig. You will not be let down by Marks jigs!

Make a choice & go with it!

I have been fishing this jig for about 3 years and I believe it is absolutely the best jig to fish in the roots of trees and timber in general. I have caught some big fish on this jig. The jig gets hung up way less and the hook up are about the same maybe a little better because the loop will lay over to the side with much less pressure then the regular jig guard will go down and clear the hook, so the hook up should be better. just my .02

Mark has got a sure enough winner with his M-pack jigs. As mentioned previously, the new style guard does seem to help lessen hang ups quite a bit over conventional weed guard. Usually not the hook that is buried so clearing jig is much easier. The design of the Flippn & Swim jig heads really allow them to come thru weeds and wood equally well. Great for skipping also. Lastly, great color selection on all of his jigs. PB&Strawberry is my favorite.
