Thinking about pulling the trigger on a new 2014 214 XTS SB, wanting to hear from some owners if I could.

Excellent choice!!! I have the 224XTS myself and extremely pleased with the boat. I started out looking at the same boat you are, but decided to bump up for the added room and added options. I actually ordered mine and got the tournament pro package as well. Out of all the boats I looked at, it seem to have the edge on being better built. One thing that helped my decision was to try th boats out. The guys over at Texas Marine took me out in both boats and let me try them out. That was the deciding factor on which one to buy for me. The boats run great, handle great, ride great....the 224 is just little more stable and roomy, as well as has a few more options to offer. Excellent in shallow water and will get on plane extremely fast in a short distance. I also would recommend the Ipilot if you haven't already....love it!!! The 214 is even quicker in shallow water. You can't go wrong with either boat really.....let me know if you want more specifics about the boat...I'll tell what I've experienced with mine...so far a great boat and I'm a very happy owner......

I had an 18ft CC Nautic Star whith a 90 hp 2stroke and it was terrific. Handled big water days and was more roomy to walk around in than other CCs of that size. A well built boat. I can only imagine the 22ft is just more good stuff.

I don't own one myself but fish from a 224 regularly. Easily one of the most stable and roomier boats to fish from. Gets on plane quickly and is a joy to fish with the I Pilot in control as well. The Bimini top option is a god send in the summer sun also!

Don't tell him I sent you =-), and it really isn't posted. But I know he has been talking about selling it. Nautic Star 2200XS ... it is very well maintained has a Honda 250 on the back of it ... they normally come with 200's but it needs the 250.
It is tricked out with radar and all sorts of gadgets. He is wanting to go smaller so he can pull the kiddos tubing and trailer it up north to some lakes.
281-534-1500 ... ask for Mark ... ask him how much he wants for it ... ...
good Luck .. I have only been on this Nautic Star and it is Sweet ... been 40 miles offshore, fish the jetties, and trinity bay ...
