Just wanted to give kudos to Lakeview motel on Sam Rayburn. It was very comfortable and clean. And the owners are nice as well. If anybody looking for a place to stay on Rayburn about the midway point, give these guys a call. And it wont break the bank!

Great burgers too! Guys, if you want to leave your boats in the water overnight, or while you grab a bite of lunch, or just want to get off the water for a for a short spell to rest the cove behind Lakeview is perfect. It is sheltered from wind from any direction except maybe dead south, which is uncommon on Rayburn. Bonus, there is usually a wheeled temporary dock, or several in the eater there. No having to get your feet wet.
