Me and a buddy was talking about making a trip up to lake naconiche this weekend. How is the lake I have heard that it was a decent little lake. Is it worth going up there or just going to our usual Lake Sam Rayburn hole???

You know better than to go on a fishing forum and ask advice on fishing.

I think I'll take a few days to figure it out and then post every spot, specific depth, baits, and directions.....along with photos......be good for the local economy.

frkazoid It's not a hard lake to fish. The lake is full of brush and standing timber. Be careful not to bump the trees as they are rotten now and may ruin your day. There's hydrilla along the banks and there is some 35 ft. water in places. You won't have any trouble finding bass on it. Just act like you're crappie fishing and toss a 1/16 oz jig out there. You'll get tired of catching bass. By the way, they're are some good crappie in that lake. You won't find a better boat ramp. Yall should give it a try and form your own opinion of it. Good luck!

Watch out for bee's nest's up in those trees. They are higher up than you may be used to!
