I was following a discussion on home made rod box organizers last week - either here or on the Bass Fishing forum.

Anybody know where it went? Surely, it wasn't deleted who_knows

Me too. I am the one that started the thread under the bass fishing forum and now can't find it.

Guys, there are at least three (3) sizes of golf tubes: Jumbo, Oversize and Regular. I found Regular in the Academy in Lufkin and I think they may be to small. Has anyone seen any Oversize or Jumbo (spinning rod) tubes anywhere in east Texas who_knows?

Let's get this thread going again. This is a worthwhile project considering the store bought organizers cost $150 plus freight plus taxes.

The regular diameter tubes are the ones you want, you could put in a couple of the larger diameter tubes to accomodate large guide spinning rods if you want.

It doesn't matter how you find the pot of gold, all that matters is that you beat the leprachaun.

Well, the regular tubes are $0.87 each at Academy. Since you (Randy) have a prototype, I assume you are comfortable with the large guides on an open faced spinning outfit and the regular tubes?

How many peasants, or is it pheasants, did you catch?
