shad or chrome in clear water. Gold chrome or firetiger in dirtier water

For clear water: Bone with a little chartreuse or ghost minnow, stained water: chrome or firetiger. add a feathered treble to the rear for #'s leave it off for the kicker. I try not to be to flashy in super clear water, but that's just me....

Check out LW Luresmith Custom Baits....the guy has some very nice jerkbait patterns.

Check out LW Luresmith Custom Baits....the guy has some very nice jerkbait patterns. Thanks he is getting his blanks from the same vendor as me so that helps alot

Bass won't know it's not megabass.

Thanks, bass won't know I'm throwing a $25 bait, because that's not going to happen. They are great looking baits but sure don't fit my price point. Kinda like the high end crankbaits are just not for me.
I'll sure check out the rc though I like their square bills

I have used several of the X-raps and they keep breaking where the bill meats the bait, you cast out and reel in a bill with a eyelet on it and not bait. That was 5 years ago, maybe they are building them better now.
