Just in case someone is looking like I was and waiting on that good deal before purchasing I found a 12' for $1499 @
http://www.okefenokeeoutdoors.com/Minn-K...12_p_26506.html
I was waiting on Black Friday sale but if my math is correct this beats that deal

Tackle Warehouse price matched talon and the bracket that saves about $500.00 and also got free shipping.. (Thanks Tackle Warehouse)

Called Monday and got bracket yesterday and talon on schedule to be delivered today sure hoping to be anchored up Sunday fish
Not plugging for any company or saying which shallow water anchor is better just thought it was good deal worth passing along

Thinking about getting a talon 12ft as well. That is a good deal! Re-post how it performs on Sunday!

That's a GREAT deal!! I recently bought one and love it. I use it all the time, fishing and anchoring. Thought about two...but, for now just one. Works great
A purchase I don't think you would ever regret....JMO

I will do, Haven't been on a boat with talon just PP but figured with my boat setup in battery compartment I know you can squeeze a couple of pumps in there cause I've seen same models with them but man its got to be tight and a lot of re-arranging..

Sure wish I could have talked the BOSS lady into 2 at that price..

I'd get the Talon over a PP anyway. i haven't had any issues with mine at all. Same company that makes Minn Kota so you know the quality is there.

I'd love the talon if the entire unit deployed down into the water form its standing position... I don't know why they don't have a design like that... would effectively double the length of the units or half their standing size out of the water for the same length/holding if they designed something that way. I can't stand them as someone who back decks. I have a nasty habit of smacking the ish out of them with rods forgetting they are there when the sun starts to set.

even when I get a big boat I wouldn't want one because it ruins the back deck fishability and I love fishing with partners, friends, kids etc. Too bit a sacrifice imo.

Installed 360 universal mount last night in about 30 minutes.
Installed talon tonight with help of my 10yr old took about 1 1/2 hrs still need to wire it up doesn't come with enough wire to reach ignition switch for start alarm and I'm going to run hot wire from my main accessories switch on dash back to power it. Did temp hook to power so we could play around with new toy and could see boat and trailer rise alittle when deployed. Seems like plenty of down force but I'm no expert and this is my 1st experience with talon. So far I'm bouncy can't wait to hit water

It's already paying for itself with that second place check today!
