I was at an event where Jeff Kriet was one of the Pros there putting on seminars. The question about Hydro Wave was brought up and his answer was among more definitive ones were, he once used it as he was deep sea fishing. There was a tug and then nothing else happened. As he lifted the Hydro Wave out of the water, only the wires were left!

Just another observation: When KVD had the prototype & no one else did, he was dominant. Now that everyone has access to one, the field seems to have leveled. Maybe just coincidence.

Buy some Livingston lures and see if you like them, same concept.. if those produce better for you maybe a hydrowave is just the ticket. Look for Lee in Texas for good reviews on his success fishing them.
