I hit Grapevine from 6-10:30. Caught 7 eaters. Biggest was a teenager. Around 9:00 the wind slightly changed direction and it got colder. The bite stopped for me when that happened.

I gave it a shot. There's a spot near me that allows to flex the Jeep a little, and fish !
Only thing i caught was someones discarded net.... but there was a another lure in it, so i got that going for me.
Then i created a giant birds nest on my bait caster... guess i need to learn to cast with gloves on.
And then, on my little pan-fish rig, it snagged a log, got stuck, and broke the line.
I could see my bobber all of 10 ft from me. But i did not really feel like wading in to get it.
Oddly, still a good day smile
