It has been an extremely bad year for several of us down here on the bird...at this time I would have to say it will be anyone's game south or north Texas angler. That my friends is something I would have never said in the past few years.

Think I'll throw my name in the hat. Got an order of 3:16 baits in today and I'm feeling empowered

Wow 318" is pretty good. Seems like this would be fun. I think its possible to do well if I hit the brazos 2-3 times a month.

I don't bass fish at all in the winter. There isn't a decent winter lake near me and personally I think it's just too cold in North Tx to get much enjoyment if any out of freezing my [censored] off to get skunked repeatedly. I'll be crappie fishing this winter because they bite better in the cold. Good luck to all the competitors, I'll be following along for sure!

I think I've lost interest in this contest, will probably try and catch some whisker fish or maybe even take a crappie lesson or two.

Looks like fat sack has it's first 300 inch sack of the year!! Two fish over 25" so far, and a few over 24". It's pretty cool to see what everyone is pulling in as it's happening.
