Which do you like best (catch more fish on), the drop shot rig or the shakey head rig?

Use the shakey head as your drop shot weight to find out.

Use the shakey head as your drop shot weight to find out. Might as well, they're both limp wrist applications. LOL

I normally throw a dropshot when the fish are suspended and shakey head when there on bottom.

For me dropshot by far. I seem to do better on a t-rig than a shakey head.

Both take patience and the attentiveness to feel the bite. They also take a sensitive rod which most time equates to a higher end rod. The most common mistake most anglers make is to over work the bait. Shaky Head doesn't mean to constantly twitch your rod tip. Patience patience and more patience!

Personally I like the shaky head better, I I just roll it across the bottom at different speeds. Have to watch line close it will swim off sometime before you feel it. Drop shot a total different feel feel your line get light and I miss a lot of fish.

I normally throw a dropshot when the fish are suspended and shakey head when there on bottom. Personally I love throwing both these rigs! My go to is the shaky head though, I can adjust how fast I present it for the time I'm fishing though. I would throw a drop shot if your fishing these types of conditions because I would take it and pitch it next to visible structure I know bass are staying on. So I can keep it in their strike zone longer. Again you can do the same thing with a shaky head but as stated above if fish are suspended then I would present something off the bottom "in their face".

I like both also. I usually throw both throughout the day.

Why not put a shakey head on your drop shot. Two for one.

Use the shakey head as your drop shot weight to find out. I actually do this quite a bit. Or use a light jig

I try shakey heads ALL the time when the bite gets tough but can never seem to get any bites unless they are bluegill or 6" bass. I do however get a lot more bites and some better size on a drop shot. Just my experience though. My buddy and team partner is the opposite, he tears em up with the shakey but can't get bit on a drop. Guess it's all how you wiggle your worm... plus confidence.

Try a Grande Bass rattle snake or baby snake on it.
