58 degrees now, but with the 7 day forecast calling for every night but one in the 20's its gonna drop significantly, especially with these long nights. This is what I like on Fork, but man that water level is dropping quick...

The water level dropping reminds me of Lake Tawakoni and what has happened there in the last several years. It fishes completely different than 10 years ago. Keeps you on your guard not to rely on the same old ways of catching them. Between the weather and water level dropping, sure makes it hard to get on a reliable pattern, at least for me. Much respect to you guys that do it for a living and work hard to put your clients in fish.

We saw 49-57 yesterday.. Water clarity was pretty good though and we even managed to catch few.

I bet the water temps will be in the mid 40's after about 3 or 4 more days of this. I just wonder how deep the water temp cools though, most of what we are reading on the water is surface temp. Looks like by the end of next week, the weather warms back into the 60's
