Does anybody know if you can hook up a tablet as a slave monitor on the video outputs on a 898????

Does the new Helix 5 Sonar-GPS $ 299, in the BPS 2015 catalogs,
have the ability to display the GPS/Chart on a full screen ?
Or is it only displayed on 1/2 of the screen with the sonar ?
I'm looking to replace my old gray scale chartplotter.

Thanks Yes you can display the gps/chart on a full screen. It should have a Sonar OFF setting like all the other Humminbird Combo units have. Then you don't even have to connect a transducer to it. I will be GPS/Chart only.

on a hb 899 is there a way to tell me how many miles ive driven or how many miles it is from a to b

Anyone know if a 859 can be linked with an 1198 and 998 ? Yes, both 859's via Ethernet. The 859ci HD Combo will share 83/200 kHz with the others. The 859ci HD DI Combo will share 200 kHz with the others. All will share GPS data.

I have the 1198 model. I did a factory reset and wiped out all my waypoints. Is there anyway to recover them? Thanks

I have the 1198 model. I did a factory reset and wiped out all my waypoints. Is there anyway to recover them? Thanks Reset Defaults did not delete your waypoints. You have to intentionally Delete them or do a Format Nav Directories to get rid of them. Check your waypoint library. Menu Nav tab, down to Waypoints, Routes, Tracks and right arrow the 4-way button. The list should be there unless you did an intentional Delete or Format.
