Took my spousal unit to hubbard from 10 to 3:30pm. The great news are I found/marked lots of fish, the ramp is 2.5 ft deep, and DS season is officialy HERE! The bad news is its also CUSSING season! With so much fish but we only boated 9 fish and missed a ton of winter crappie nibbles!!! @#$&%!?@##$!

We caught 1 healthy RHSA baby, two 18incher hybrids and still growing, 5 fatty winter magnums and one kitties. All caught DSing small flukes, small slabs, and flies. The Peter piper method works now in deeper flats. Seems to be the same pattern, same areas as last winter but earlier?

Surface water temp 62 to 64 degrees. Another cold front and it's GAME ON! BUT hopefully not too many artic fronts like last winter where fishing was zero in January for me last year.

I have been fishing too but been too lazy to report. This morning, got to fish with dad. Brother and friends couldn't join cause of one thing or another. Typically it isn't but today was their lost. The day started a little cold and a little windy but turned out calmer and warmer too! Best part, the magnum sandies and hybrids came out to play. Caught two man limits of sandies and five keeper and few under hybrids. Best part, dad caught way more fish than I did. Few pics of our exceptional day.

Nice report Todd. I haven't seen my graph lit up like that for a while. I can't wait to hit Cedar Creek on Sunday. I'm on vacation and I need to fish as much as possible if weather permits. Hopefully it's game cause wifey is tagging along for a ride to hybrid heaven. Anyone here knows what is the lake temperature at Cedar Creek?

Excellent report Todd! Just think as you were catching there we were catching with Matt. I know that's stupid but it crossed my mind! Way to go and I'm with you. We don't need a repeat of last winter. It was not a stellar winter that's for sure!

Is the east ramp at Robertson Park usable?
