Tbox is right. Buy a bag of cheap dry dog food and add a couple of pounds or so periodically. And an aerobic system must have air. Otherwise it is anaerobic and thus the smell. I ran a sewage plant for years. I know my you know what.

Thank you everyone, the Septic installer came out replaced the Aerator motor, he said that there is no surge protector and there must have had a power surge. He cleaned it out, everything is working, no smell.
I will keep the system on when I leave, I will use dogfood instead of buttermilk and have some rid-X on hand.
Can I get a surge protector, he couldn't seem to find one or they use to make some but not now?
