Howdy,

I'm driving down to Port Mansfield to shoot some photos for an article with one of the fly guides down there, but I'll have a full day on the coast beforehand, and was wanting to do some wade fishing. Does anyone know of a few good spots to wade fish with a fly rod, preferably from Corpus Christi south? Any feedback would be appreciated, if not I might try something stupid....

That's a tough area to get to ... I guess you could wade out of Bird Island Basin just along the bank.

Also a little further north will a the Flats off Wilson cut near Aransas Pass off 361 Think it's across from Mustang Towers

There are some spots that are currently holding both trout and reds here in the coastal bend.

North or south winds - doesn't matter, they are there.
