I caught a couple 19in and two 17's on bolivar using live mud minnows under a cork. I used around 3 feet of fluorocarbon line. It't not that deep where we were fishing. When the cork stopped moving I knew it got hit. Once it dipped under and stayed under for 15secs I set the hook.

I like rootbeer with gold or red flake in a curly tail grub. Tip it with a little shrimp.

Real men wear pink!! haha!
The question is what do the flounder prefer... I keep 3-5 different colors on hand, take a look around at your neighbors and see what colors they are trying. I noticed saturday everyone on the pier was using chartruese, so i tossed in a pink in tandem with a chartruese and bamm second cast 17"er on the pink!

3 baits to always have, gulp nuclear chicken shrimp, gulp curly tail pin and gulp curly tail chartreuse. Can't go wrong pitching any of those at any time

I use the tandem specktail rigs. pink, chartreuse red, and white, glow when the water is murky. Always get hits and they are cheap.
