 Can I Install Larger Gas Tank

Has anyone ever installed a larger gas tank in your boat? I have a 2004 Tracker Targa 175 and it has a 15 gal tank. I really wish it had a larger one.
Thoughts?

Not sure of how much extra room you have available for a bigger tank in your boat, but I would be worried about the extra weight if your not at the max hp for your boat.

ABYC requirements would suggest not to change the approved installed tank size.
Your boat's insurance would likely refuse to pay a major claim is ABYC ratings were found violated.

Not sure of how much extra room you have available for a bigger tank in your boat, but I would be worried about the extra weight if your not at the max hp for your boat. I would be concerned more about the weight also. I carry too much junk in my boat now to add any more weight to it. LOL

Good points about the extra weight being a problem. Thanks for the input, I guess I'll just have to tell the wife it means a new boat.
