Jim nailed this 36 incher on a Super Zara Spook. A strong cold front came through down to 27 degrees and shut it down for us other than catching 30 big sand bass up to 17 inches on Saturday.

Actually it was 38 inches. We saw alot of wildlife on this beautiful lake.

I always wondered if there were SB there now I know.
I have visited but not fished Beaver Lake and you are right on, it is a sight to behold.

27 degrees is not bad for Alaska.
You put Beaver Lake AK, prob meant AR.
BTW NICE striper. I need to go to AR again.

That's a nice fish. I have fished beaver the last two years but never caught a striper up there. This past may I caught a bunch of walleye and crappie along with small LM and SM bass. The lake is beautiful and fun even when the fish aren't biting.
NW Arkansas is way too cold for me to fish after September. 27 deg will keep me and most everyone else inside by the fireplace.

Awesome going guys! Wife and I fished there in July. She caught a monster striper! I had forgotton about ya'll trip. Keep it up!
