Never been to the lake before. Is it safe to run all the way to the 155 bridge or do you have to break down before and idle? Thanks.

you can run as long as you stay in the boat lane. It's near normal level so no worries. Was out there last weekend and ran above and below 155 with no problems.

Sorry, maybe misunderstood your question. As above LOP level is good for running. Only about 1/4 ft below winter poll level.

My information is not current, but if you have never been on the lake it might be informational. This is a video from my trip out there this summer. Once you get above the 155 bridge it is mostly idling outside of the marked lanes. This ride here is quite a ways north of the bridge. Get out of these lanes and it gets skinny quickly.

You can run all the way to the pump station on the west side of the lake above 155

WOW! Cool Video, when I was there in June, we didn't go far above the bridge. I think my next trip will head up there, water looks AMAZING!!! Thanks for sharing this!

Fishing frogs up north is getting good with the cooler temps and you should be fine running the boat lane.

I don't know where that video was shot but I don't think it was pines. Lol
There's not nearly not that many poles north of the bridge.

I ran from the 155 bridge to where the poles stopped but there was a long straight chanel headed back towards Lone Star.
Can you keep running the channel and then will the poles pick up again?

There are some real bruisers in that boat lane north of last pump station. Be careful. 3:00 mins til the end is full of cut stumps in the boat lane. Especially where you shut down.

No poles between the two pump stations. Only run this is your are full covered on insurance, know the path very well, saw what it looks like in low water, and GPS all the turns and bad spots. It's knarly.

Run is straight from 155 to first big curve(Hijack).

From Hijack to End-pole is Cypress Creek channel between poles, best to stay on outside of channel turns. Inside can get shallow. You need to know channel. Cypress Creek is wide enough, but seems to always have a deep-side/shallow-side.

End-pole to pump station is not straight, it has winding channel & some stumps on outside, you need to know channel.

Past pump station stay in channel or go stump-bumping. I always idle past this point.
