Lets try this again I don't post much it seem to turn out negative for me.

Fishing has been Great on Benbrook last couple of weeks. The fish are starting to build eggs and its all about feeding and gaining weight at that point. This time of year they want Big, Big, Big, bait you can't get too big.
They are really moving around a lot from 10ft to 20ft of water but when you find them it's on.
Find the shad and you will catch fish. Pay attention to Barometer this time of year if it below 30.00 and falling it will be a good day to fish. Hope this helps this time of year can be great, just need to pay attention to the details.

There for sure several schools of fish. They tend to group up more starting this time of year.

Occasionally we do kill one fishing with live bait but I don't normally keep them unless they are gut hooked. I'm a bass fisherman too and it does sick when we kill a big one.

Most guys that fish for largemouth throw em back to catch them another day.

There's just not as many of them as there are hybrids and sandies
