Be very careful around the pump station intake. Rumor round here is...they are sucking so much water, boats are being drawn in. Then pumped out on to people's lawns in Dallas. Last week my dad had a Mercury Cowling, skeeter seat and a Minn Kota TM clog up his 8" diameter irrigation line.

Good luck and catch a Toad.

grin

Rumor has it that that is also the reason you don't see any Jon boats around the pump station, they would also get sucked under!!!

Friday was rough. I ended up only catching two, but they were my first Fork bass. I threw more different baits than ever in a single trip. I caught both about 6 feet from the boat which was a little weird. My partner caught 4 bass and a gar. That was interesting trying to get the gar first off a hook and then out of the net. He grabbed on to that net and wouldn't let go. Thanks to all who gave me advice.

Can't believe I missed this post the other day. That's hilarious!
