 HDS 7 HDS Gen 2 8 swap?

If I swap out my Gen 1 HDS 7 with a Gen 2 HDS 8 or 10, will I have to change out the wiring as well? I have Power, transducer (Universal Minnkota -Fortex 80), ethernet and NMEA connected to the 7. My boat is 2 hrs away and I can"t go look at the connections on my 8 in the console. Hoping some of you guys might know.  Thanks!

Since they started putting out the HDS models THAT alone has been a tremendous accomplishment. It wasn't that way before the introduction of the HDS.
