Looks like they dropped the lake 8 inches yesterday or something happened? Lake level is now over 5 ft low from pool level. This should make the boat ramp a place you won`t want to be. I guess it is maintenance time again at the plant. http://nwis.waterdata.usgs.gov/tx/nwis/uv?site_no=08177400

We are supposed to have a club tournament there Nov 15-16. I was there today and could see the sand bars out of the water in front of the pier post. Not good. Guess we may have to change lakes. Sucks.

Looks like the real time graph was messed up. Back to 4.5 ft low now.

Should be fine to launch. I'm going to be there Wednesday and Thursday next week and staying at the Cabins. I hope the fish are active. Anyone with a recent report?

My buddy stuck a 10.22lber yesterday down there in our club tournament. For the most part the fishing was pretty slow for everyone. That was his only fish he weighed in.

I fished this morning from 8am to 10am and caught over two limits of keeper fish (13 total). My best five going around 13 lbs with a 4lb kicker. I lost a bigger fish at the boat, but won't guess the weight. The wind was blowing out of the south like crazy and the fish were loving it. I started with a lipless crank in crawfish color and threw nothing else for two hours. I am having big motor problems so trolling motor only and with the wind blowing so hard I decided to leave early and work on my big motor.
The wind is changing to the north in the morning so I'm interested in seeing if the fish still have the feed bag on tomorrow. i really hope I got the motor fixed so I can spend the day catching them.
The lake is low but I was still able to launch and load the boat with ease. I am hoping to get down here again this winter, I love fishing this lake. Oh I am staying at Coletocreekcabins.com and the cabin is very clean and neat. Thank you Linda for the cabin.
