Hello fishing peeps. I'm heading to ray bob this weekend with the family and wanted to put them on some sandies. Any help would be appreciated. I have done well in the past with slabs on ledges but didn't know if they were still out in the main lake or not. I have not been out there in a year so I am clueless....

Thanks a bunch

I was out Saturday evening, just before dark they were schooling on the point across the cove at the Jordan ramp.

I am not making any decisions until the bourbon kicks in!

S/E side of wolf island along tree line, Isle Du Bois creek runs through them.
25' to 28' Slabs & Lil George's. They are moving with the shad towards mouth
of Indian creek.
Have fun !
PS Locals call it the Hay field, ask around.

Went this late after noon today and saw lots of birds. Went to check it out and im sitting in 2-3 fow!!! I was north of the marina, south of the islands. Sand bass were popping up every where....then my motor begins to [censored] out on me. Not good on a windy day!! I made it back to ramp going 4mph and watched the fish bust the surface on the way back.

We went out Monday morning and found a good group in the creek channel about 300 yards off the shore between Sand Creek and Isle du Bois. They would move through in huge groups and we'd all get a hookup...then it would die for a few minutes. Caught around 40 or so. We were using Moe's Godfather slabs in 1.5oz and lifting them slowly off the bottom.

Also went out yesterday afternoon and found them schooling around the Johnson Branch boat ramp. Not quite as good as it was on Monday but they were biting. Good luck!
