Get lake level/release info from here http://www.swf-wc.usace.army.mil/cgi-bin/rcshtml.pl?page=Reports and River reports from here http://www.weatherforyou.com/reports/index.php?forecast=rivers&gauge=NAPT2 I haven't been able to go lately but I normally fish the Mauldon area and sometimes go up river.

I was just talking to a friend in Texarkana, he said that he had not been having much luck at Wright Patman lately but had been "wearing them out" in Bringle Lake. Which kind of suprised me since he usually fishes either WP or around the bridge in Maud, but hardly ever at Bringle.

Fishing Patman tips, I usually target the upper end and rarely fish the main lake. I launch @ Mauldon, Berry Farm and the Monument @ times. I vertical fish with jigs and the colors that produce for me are Blue/white and Green/orange. When the Wifey goes, she drowns a few minnows. I like fishing around or up the river channel mostly but sometimes I venture into Herron. The fall and winter bite for me is mostly around the river channel or on the river from Mauldon to Anderson creek!
