I was thinking of hitting lake Brownwood this weekend and would be my first time. Anyone know if you can launch a boat there? If so where at. Any fishing reports?

Ok thanks for the heads up, also can you put a boat on the bank at that ramp or tie to a dock? I will be launching the boat alone

The ramp at the dam is accessible. Just stay to the left as you are looking at the water. There is 40' of concrete on that side. The right side is rough. You can access the courtesy dock on the right side with no problem. I'll be working on Sat. and Sun. if you have any problem. Thanks for coming to our lake.

Awesome thanks guys, I appreciate the help. I'm stationed here in Abilene and phantom ramps are all but gone. I've killed leon for the past month, and I'm not crazy about going out to ivie on a Saturday. Last time I was out there it was a madhouse tournament. I just paid 24000 for a bass boat I've been wanting for about 5 years and all the lakes are drying up. I pretty much drive at least an hour every weekend. Again thanks guys. Hope to see y'all out there, I'm in a blue skeeter

I get to work between 7:30 and 8:00. Stop by our office (right past the dam on the right) and I'll hook you up with a map.
