I went with Preast a few weeks back, flats were blown out, weather sucked, and we busted.

I need retribution.

... and someone to split gas and weigh down the front of the boat.

Anyone interested? It looks like Saturday seems sunny with decent wind most of the day.

No promises, mater of fact my track record down there is pretty pathetic.

I know it's last minute, but I'm hopping to put something together.

If you leave now, you could be here in time to head out!

So I'll probably stick around close if I can't get a partner. It's not too late!

btw, there is some period tomorrow with predicted 0mph wind.

Well, I got someone to go, but they wouldn't take their turn polling or even help pack up.

So we didn't go to AP:

I like that photo. And I have a dog that's the same way - won't pole the boat or split gas roflmao

I don't think you missed much. I was down there this weekend with the family and fished several spots: tried bait in the surf near Packery and the channel at the jetties and further inland, and then fly fished B&R in the kayak for a couple hours Sunday morning. Just spooked a few reds on the flats and got skunked. Can't remember the last time that happened. Didn't hear or see anybody else catching either though. CC got a ton of rain end of last week so maybe that messed things up. Of course I'm a novice to SW and no telling how many shots I missed.

Weather was perfect though. This was what it looked like @11am and low tide. Wish I could've caught the incoming.

so many variables to the successful day out fly fishing equation. Looks like you got clear water, no wind and sunny skies ... just missing the fish!
