Come up with something simple and low cost to start, like reel repair and then become the best reel repairer in your community and grow from there. Customer service and word of mouth will do wonders for you. Also at age 15 google compound interest:) Good luck and if you would like any advice from me don't hesitate to reach out. I love to see young entrepreneurs in the making...

Here's maybe a possible starter. The jig market is slim pickings. Most jig fisherman are set in their ways. But if you have an artistic side and a wild imagination you might paint crankbaits. Online you can buy several different blanks and learn simple effective color patterns to start with. Wild idea for the flow chart.

Reel cleaning is slim pickings and had to size up against people that have been doing it for 10yrs plus. Id say do something easy and simple.

Start a business making gopro videos for fishermen.
Angler gives you the raw gopro footage...
You edit and make a video/movie for them...
Just a thought.
Good luck

This could potentially be a great idea for a tech savvy youngster. The challenge would be figuring out how to review all the footage in a timely manner to make sure you capture all the good bits. Whichever ideas you decide you want to try out, make sure you start out small and market test everything before making any significant investments. Starting a business is easy, making a meaningful profit over an extended period is the hard part! I can tell you that if you are starting a business that meaningful profit part might take years of hard work before it materializes!

This!

You set out the shots. Have several cameras and angles. Spend a few hours getting the shots you need then collect the cameras, edit and produce the footage and if they like the results then sell them the video.

It so would take time to get good at it and some classes would do you good but there is a market for it.

With your age and passion for fishing, graduate High school, then go to a college that supports a bass fishing team and major in areas that would help you become that successful businessman. Marketing, Business courses are just as important in the long run. You can still pursue work in the fishing industry while you go to school. My 2 cents.
