Everyone becareful out there tommorow. There is a huge event called a "tie off" that is a mardi gra (sp??) type party on the water. There will be around 100 boats and yachts all tied off together in the middle of the lake drinking (LOTS) and getting chicks naked for beads. While the bare skin sounds very interesting, the 100+ drunks trying to navagate their boats around the lake sounds very dangerous!! Watch out for the idiots!!

Let's see alcohol, high temps and humidity, crowded lake, stupid people, and a major tournament.... Yep that's a pretty serious situation! You won't find me within 30 miles of that place!

Thought that event was moved to the 3rd weekend(next weekend) because of the tourney.

Ok I have been working the phones over BIG time trying to confirm the info on the tie up. The event has been cancelled for this weekend. The problem is that the word wasnt spread around to the marinas until yesterday afternoon so they are still expecting a large turn out. One guy still has a poster up for it to take place tommorow! So it wont be the official tie up but there will be alot of people out there anyway.

They used to do that on Percy Priest REservoir in Nashville, TN, almost every weekend! There was one big cove that they would fill up with boats. In the middle would be about 15 big houseboats tied together. They would have bands playing on top of the houseboats with speakers you could hear for miles! It would start up about noon each day and go into the wee hours of the morning. That was a Corp lake and there were no houses on the lake so the LEO let them play and hauled off the injured ones. It was crazy! Even had Jet Ski beer carts that went around selling brew!

That's disgusting! Party boats on the lake w/ naked women! I can't believe what I'm reading! Now what cove are they going to be tied-up at???

Well if I go I will have to switch what baits I use.I guess with all of the noise and naked women there would only be 1 bait to use.My trusty ol 10" worm  .

The cancelation notices didn't get to about 40 boats, when we left the lake at about 2 pm. Hopefully tomorrow most of them will be passed out for most of the day.
