It is the worst pay out for a regional/ fall championship in any circuit I've ever seen, period. You can win that much on a 40 boat regular tourney in the spring.

Yeah its a grass roots tournament trail with lower entry fees, and we are complaining about the overall payout. Heck im sure if they boost up the registration they could have a bigger payout at the championship, but wait that already exists several times over for other trails. FOM is a good trail, if ur in it for money, and u win alot, probably not for you.

FOM is a good trail, if ur in it for money, and u win alot, probably not for you. It cost about $300-350 to pay all the memberships and fees at the first tourney if I recall correctly. And it's like $150-175 per tourney, which is the same cost as budlight, media, etc. I enjoyed fishing the circuit, and no this was not just a qualifier dingle berry it was a freaking regional/district tourney with 103 boats, that has given away a boat in the past at this tourney. If they would have made all the teams aware of what the payout was going to be that would have been nice. Instead the communication is garbage.

I am all about the circuit and really have enjoyed the meetings and services for each tournament. But I would really like to see some better communication from a national organization. Theread was no understanding from the anglers that we would not be qualifying for the 2015 classic and 2014 FOM national tournament would be grandfathered into getting this chance for free. When it was said a minimum of 10 times at the first meeting of the year that if you didn't pay a $10 fee of some sort you wouldn't be qualiflying for the classic.
Now they are sending teams to lake DeGray that in no way paid this fee that we were all made to pay and told that it was a deal breaker without.
