Started around 5:30 at the inlet and nothing! Trolled around and spooked a few carp in the very shallows

Told the wife I was going to make it a quick trip (which means no less than 5 hrs) and ran to twin points. Nothing! Looked at my phone and saw it was almost 10. I was running out of time so I headed back towards my home. I hit the bottom at about 20 yards from the point accross from the dam. Fortunately after the motor turned off after hitting rocks I was able to push my boat back in 2ft in order to troll out deeper. Threw the cast net and caught some shad. I was able to get the motor started again and get closer to home without any further incident. I anchored in about 15ft of water, threw two lines with light bobbers and as I threw the third line out to fish off the bottom, the first bobber goes down. As I'm reeling it in the second one goes down. After about an I caught a total of 9

It was a great last hour.
