Just wanted to post a picture of a man that helped make me what I am today ..he passes away recently. He taught me how to hunt deer, birds and fish..mostly crappie out of a fishing tube. http://s47.photobucket.com/user/taguirre...?sort=3&o=0

Sorry to hear of your loss. Keep in mind he is STILL WITH YOU in everything you think and do.
Treasure those memories....I lost my father long ago, 1972 at age 47. A WWII USN vet, paid a heavier price than we knew.
God Bless....may God watch over you and your family

My Dad taught me too. The pain passes, the memories continue.

just lost mine last month as well, sir. He, his dad and myself all share the same birthday, which is approaching. They just wont be the same. Cherish the memories you made, its about the only thing keeping my sanity in check at this point. His investment was making deposits in my memory bank on the water, and as I write this with tears in my eyes, I can honestly say my bank is full. He was my Dad, my best friend, and my fishing buddy. Now, it's my job to endure the pain of fishing without him to make deposits in my two boy's memory banks....one trip at a time.

My condolences, Dad's are the glue that hold's families together. Hard to imagine they are gone, I guess the memories made are precious. I miss my Dad too.

My pop went to our heavenly father almost a year ago, taught me the wonders of the outdoors. Im just glad I went fishing with him a month before he passes. Glad we all were blessed with wonderful fathers.
