After reading all the 'HYPE' of this guy FISHFORK (the electronics guru), I decided to drive 2 hours to meet and let him show me a thing or two about my electronics. I arrived at the ramp at the foot of the 154 bridge a little early. While waiting, I watched a man catch 10-15 fish off the bridge columns.

Slade was right on time, after introductions, we launched my boat. He is not a 'little' boy but neither am I. He first destroyed all my settings on my 1198 by setting it back to factory defaults, then started pushing buttons, changing screens etc. All the while talking and making sense. It did not take him long to change my 1198 anchor into my 1198 BIG SCREEN UHD TV (I am sure it is capable of picking up the COWBOYS.

He then started on the Elite 7 HDI (on the Bow) and after a little while we were looking at the bottom of Lake Fork, counting large amounts of crappie and bass with a few sandies thrown in.

Overall Slade went above and beyond expectations. He is a super god fearing guy that knows his stuff.

If you need electronis help, as I did, Give Slade Dougharty a call at 817-797-8762, you will not be disappointed.

He is my go to guy, right hand man....He can do some amazing things with your electronics. Humminbird and or Lowrance...

Slade and I have talked for a while but had never had the chance to meet.

He dialed in my units one morning when I was launching at the ramp while he was waiting on his client to arrive. First time we met eachother. He took the time that morning to introduce himself and show me what he has to offer.

Nice guy, I call him a friend and he knows what your units needs are and what his clients expect......

Take a trip out to Lake Fork and visit with Slade Dougharty (aka) forkfish here on this forum. He would be very happy to get you schooled on the how to's for your electronics. He will stay with you until you are confident in what he is teaching you.

I like to see the confidence Slade brings to each person he has assisted. After all confidence is a major part of the game plan.

NO 3lb er, I went out with Slade last Sunday. All I can say is the guy is AWESOME! He is extremely personable and professional. He turned my 898 on and said the software was 5.0 something. I said ok being serious as all get out. He then said the latest software was 7. something and that my software was probably the original version from when I bought it. That's when he and I erupted with laughter. Then he plugged this in and that out and pressed this button and that button. He did this in a matter of minutes all the while holding a conversation with me. Boy when he was done I swore I saw a penny laying on the bottom. That's how good of an image I got. Then he jumped up front and started pushing buttons on my 596. When he was done the picture was EXCELLENT. If anyone needs any help with their electronics he is the go to guy for real!

I would like to know too or his contact info. Is there a website? It might be worth it to make a trip to Fork this winter.

I don't know if he charges everyone the same or not, but the 250.00 I paid was well worth it.

I had a trip with Slade this week. It was eye opening to learn what my HDI 7 is capable of. I didn't even know how to mark brush piles with the cursor which is going to be a great help.

I am working on learning to post some pictures, then I will post what some of the brushpiles with a lot of crappie on them look like.

Thanks Slade cheers
