My partner and I had our captain cancel on us for the highschool tourney on Texoma this weekend. We desperately need a captain! A good lunch will be paid for afterwards

I already captain. But I wanted you to know I am actively looking for you guys. Challenge will be finding a captain and getting background check done in time they also need to have the right insurance 300 liability.

Don't know if I can help but I'm trying. Didn't want you to think you were being ignored!!

I'm going to Arkansas this Saturday to hopefully pick-up my new (to me) boat. So can't help out this weekend.

Does anyone know if I'm cleared (background) check for one school (which I am for Allen) will that clearence be good for any highschool team or do I have to be cleared by each school I captain for?

I checked last night and was told the captain has to be cleared by the teams school . I'm cleared for Sanger if I captain for another team say alen I would have to be cleared by alen.

So if someone wants to captain they need to step up real quick.
I'm by no means an official I would call an advisor or maybe Jeff the tournament director to make sure the info I gave is correct.

You are correct. Whatever school you volunteer for, you have to pass their background check in order to take out their students.

OK at least I know for the future.

It would be nice if all the schools would accept a universal background check so that pre-approved captains could jump in as necessary and help out any school participating in the THSBA.

Just a thought.
