Looks great. What jig heads do you personally match them with Lane? I'm a big fan of your thump buddies. I need to order some jig heads so will wait to hear what you recommend before ordering some!

Thank you all very much for not only your support, but your kind words. That means a lot to a man who fishes for a living.
To answer the question about what jig heads I prefer, I use either an 1/8 ounce or a 1/16 ounce #4 sickle hook. I have thousands of hooks with no collar (because they work best for the Thump Buddies) but with this "Chubby" body profile, jig heads with or without the collar will work.
When rigging this bait, you'll want the hook to come out of the ridged back. I am happy to answer any questions you may have, so don't be shy.

I guess it's time to whip out the ol credit card again! I've been told by many wise fisherman that the best bait to use is the one you have most confidence in. Well, I have confidence in anything Constant Persuit Outfitters comes up with!
Very nice baits Lane! Can't wait to try em!

I really don't know what to say except thank you all very much for your support. Due to the volume of orders that have come in the last few days, and my lower unit going out at 11:00am this morning as I was going across the lake, I am behind in my fulfillment. I will have every order that was placed over the weekend to their destination by the end of this week. I like to get you, the customer, your order in just a day or two, but please allow a week at this time. I've had several inquiries about the proper way to rig these Chubby little dudes. I prefer an 1/8 ounce #4 bronze sickle hook. Here is how I rig them: Notice that the ridges and the little eye on the bait are on top. Again, I want to say thank you to everybody here on TFF. I really never expected this much support, and I am very gracious and blessed to serve each and every one of you.

I'll try some of thoes. Sometimes you have to go small for them to bite.

Sorry to hear about the lower unit. What happened? The problem is self explanatory once you have seen the load of crappies that he has been hauling in with that chubby. The extra strain was more than the lower unit could handle.

Stucky, I had an oil leak that I never detected right about the water intake at the very bottom of the engine. All my lower unit oil dripped out, leaving the gears unprotected. Fortunately, I hooked up to the Lund this morning, and we came home with 34 keepers. Everything was in 10-19ft of water, and CR Special was the color of choice.
