took lunch break like almost every day ..... down at the river .... took me a bit to figure out the presentation ... i got bit a few times by some little fish early on and they didnt want my Silver Flash ! they wanted a lil rascal at first in i think its called texas thunder ? red/orange on a pink head .... got tired of the little fellas and thought maybe something bold in a larger size bait will find me a larger crappie fish a stinger bait from Thermocline in an Electric Chicken started getting hits and action on every cast ! and as always .... to be continued ... and ... Went for a few hours saturday morning and they wanted the char/orange Cajun cricket. Found a little fat black crappie.

i bet that was the ticket brother ....the electric chicken is a pink body and a sour apple tail i ran it on a 1/16 oz pink ball head about 5 foot under a fixed float... UNTIL ...a biggun broke my line and took my set up i didnt have anymore 1/16 in pink so i opted for a 1/32 in green with my last Electric chicken only had 3 with me and one broke me off and one took my plastic right off the jig i managed about 20 to 25 with several ok pretty nice size white crappie one ok size black bass and lost bunches due to my setting the hook VERY lightly with 4 lb test ketched a few black crappie and one mohawk as well ...but.... i sure need to go back to 6 lb test brother that little 6 foot rod and 4 lb aint what it takes for them long casts and out of town hook sets for sure for me ..... but i managed a few and played them back to the bank CAREFULLY and as always ...
