funny I seen drain plugs earlier... before I received my new Ranger I called Ranger parts and ordered a screw-in type drain plug to replace the remote drain plug that comes standard on the new Rangers, the old style thankfully uses the same screw pattern so a little sealant and I was back to a secure drain plug...that is the best thing i added to my new boat !!!! x 1,000,000,000 some folks might think i'm nuts but a hole in the boat should not be left up to a open closed lever that could work free in vibration caused by the outboard or pounding waves...just my 2 cents...

Sure is a pain remembering and removing drain plug now at the ramp before trailing..

I just sold my boat but the best thing I added was a set of Easy Steps. Getting older and out of shape these things are great. Makes it very easy to launch and recover by yourself. Also alot nicer than crawling in and out of the back of the boat.
