Kind of hard question.... Just one. They all kind of work together, finding, staying, etc. If I had to say just one, it would have to be the Lowrance HDS 8 with sidescan.

My boat came from the factory with my HDS units installed so I would have to say power poles hands down, or gas

Yes, mine is also the 101 fortex with agm batteries- count that as one thing. I like the larger tm - I have a fairly light 18 ft bass cat sabre ftd but I love the added 101 tm.
A really good smooth strong tm with strong long lasting batteries is about the best one add on for any boat that is missing it IMO.

Barring all the obvious expensive electronics and various type and versions of the power pole/talon, the best thing I added was a customer trailer step. After looking at the one on Ranger Boat trailer frame-mounted steps and pricing it, I got together with a fishing buddy who could also weld, we designed a customer frame-mounted step that not only fit my rig perfectly, but we were able to apply a matching paint job and diamond plate the top of it at a fraction of the price to buy one. New boat will get the same treatment. Great for quick access/exit to boat and for safety reasons
