I think your best bet might be to google the make/model. See what you find. If you get lucky you will find a craigslist post or something. My suggestion, start off with the what you think the high value is, add O.B.O ( or best offer ) and go from there.

This is the formula I try to use. These are just my thoughts and by no means a KBB equivalent. I'm sure others will chime in.
Retail price minus 20% the first year. Additional 10% per year after that for two years. You can add a little bit back in for accessories but keep in mind people may not want them at all so it can hurt you if they are not desirable. If they are desirable, I add them in at 50% of retail. For example:
Ride 115X Lowrance Elite 4 DSI FF 240CM Bending Branches Angler Slice Paddle
Retail is Ride $1000 FF $250 Paddle $200
In like new condition with just these three: Ride $800 FF $125 Paddle $100
That's a package of $1025 I'd price it at $1000 even. When it is like new PLUS they will get some accessories, they'll be more likely to buy it. If you made a mistake and are trying to get all of your money back, it'll take a lot longer. Sometimes you just take your loss and move on. I've sold the last three kayaks I've posted in less than an hour. It needs to be desirable to do that though. Name brands like Jackson, Wildy, Hobie, Native etc will sell faster and for a better price than a big box brand most times (not always).
