Well I have been doing a lot of deer hunting lately with the bow not that I haven't been fishing but haven't had a whole lot of time to do any kind of report. The fishing has been exceptional so far this fall and I have two deer in the freezer already. But looking forward to the fall colors in the trees and in the Browns. What turned into me scamming a timeshare into a free weekend on the white river has turned into an annual weeklong trip for at least the last eight years. After the last flood a few years ago it has steadily been getting back to its old form. I look for this to be the best in four years. At least my arm is not wraped in a rubber glove freshly broken in a cast this year lol as some my remember. My ortho is still shocked that at my two week check up he found out I have been flyfishing on the white river waist deep in water and climbing a Treestand and bow hunting with a crossbow LOL. It's a shame I wasn't up on the digital format long ago as I have lost some amazing pictures of 25-28 inch browns and some are not in digital format at all that I have but here are a few to look back on in the anticipation of the pilgrimage.

Come a long way from the woman that made me put dove in a neat stack and was sad as I shot them. Oh when the dark rolls around can't wait freezing to death swinging streamers to browns measured in pounds not inches few more weeks to go.

Hey capt Mac yea I have still been fishing a few days a week but with adding dove and bow season and work and the little lady. That's a lot lol so havnt been around on here. Fishing this late summer and fall has been fantastic I have really figured out the walleye caught a few smallmouth a ton of bass and crappie and caught a two pound channel cat on my three wt last week on a hares ear lol.
