And I could choose to quit my job, figure out the welfare system and live happily ever after, but I choose to work for my money and what I have. Go ahead and say it's not the same thing. [/quote]

I doubt it, but you go ahead and give it a shot, let us know how it works out for you.

does yank even fish? back on the subject since you dont know the lake search this site for the videos of where to run and where not to, it is very informative. I have relatives that live in tiger creek I caught a few there last time I was fortunate enough to get to rayburn( back at easter) I hope you can look through all the chaos and find good info here. It is kinda like fishing 90% of the good info is in 10% of the post

Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst

I agree, most of the tournaments on rayburn are won from information on here. very good stuff if you know where to look.

Tiger creek is a really good area this time of year!

Someone always leaks the good info no matter how hard we try keep all the locals tight lipped.

IMO there is a huge difference in

"Takin my (son, dad, brother etc) fishing on a lake we don't know, we are fun fishing and would like some help"

In this scenario, I would be as helpful as I could be if I was

Then there's
"I'm fishing in a tournament and want info "

In this situation your out of luck , practice and find your own fish for competition reasons IMO.

That's what the strife is about, the situation makes a big difference in alot of people's eyes. Especially tourney guys who put in hard work trying to figure out the fish...

It amazes me that you guys think the Elites amd FLW Pro's all find their "own fish". With all the networking tools available and all the clicks within each circle to include locals that they don't share info with each other or receive it from guides or locals who want that connection with them is beyond me. It's just that they don't come on the forum and get that info.

The difference is they get some info way in advance, then go practice to see what's up. And after the off limits period they aren't talking to anyone that's not entered per the rules.

Your not gonna find a pro asking for help on a forum or from outside sources a few days out.

idk why some people get so offended by these questions. if you want to help the guy out then do so, if not then leave it alone. anyone can ask the same questions and get the same answers and everyone on here can see all of it. pros do it all the time when they come to new lakes. its not that big of a deal. if i needed help ide ask to. all they can do is say no. doesnt hurt to try.

I get a laugh out of all the people that reply trying to help. Must be locals or was that info from 4 months ago when your friends friend was on the big pond. Rayburn changes weekly. Learn it yourself. It still kicks my [censored] and I consider myself a half [censored] local.
