Whisperer,

I hear ya bro. Don't feel bad, you are not the first person to ask for some tidbits on Rayburn and get your arm bit off for doing so. The sarcasm of the would be "Johnny Pro's" in here can get pretty thick, especially when asking about Rayburn. In saying that, there are also a few who are always glad to point you in the right direction as well. Tight Lines.

Thanks GeoFisher. I really do appreciate the guys who are willing to share a little knowledge & experience with someone like me. I get to fish maybe twenty to twentyfive days a year. I need all the help i can get. LOL If someones info helps me crack the top six, then the keyboard pros can rag me all they want.

Believe me, I would gladly share some info if I had any, but I pretty much suck anywhere I go.

go straight north to the Canyons, within sight of Cassells-Boykin ramp. Top water, Tx rig and wacky rig. There is enough grass, lily pads, deep water channels and drains to never have to go anywhere else. the Mud creek area as noted above should be good as should Harvey and Indian creeks. All within sight of the bridge. Good luck

roflmao Yes, fish the damp part of the lake. The fish will be deep, shallow or some where in between.

No wonder! I've always fished the dry end.

what about them? They can ask the same questions on a forum and get the same answers. People think that KVD just shows up and kicks everyone's @$$? Doubt it, only difference is people are standing in line to help that guy, maybe get a photograph and his signature on a hat.

I fished years ago with Elton Luce on Rayburn, Anglers Choice Pro-Am, lots of big named pros fishing the event and Elton smoked them all. Can you guess who his biggest fan was after the tournament, Rick Clunn and Elton was as helpful as he could be, super guy that Elton is.

This fish the first 2 points going in on the right and the one on the left with trot line jug out on the end has produced some nice ones for me in the past mostly t-rig worms and c-rig.

And I could choose to quit my job, figure out the welfare system and live happily ever after, but I choose to work for my money and what I have. Go ahead and say it's not the same thing.

Thanks guys. Your advice is very much appreciated. I have made myself some notes to discuss with my partner. Hope we can catch 5 good ones. Still not really sure why some people get offended when someone seeks help or advice on this forum. I am only trying to become a better fisherman. I look at the advice i get on here & from the people i've met on the water as "coaching". Some people are blessed with tons of natural talent,(I am not one of those people)but even the most talented people will benefit from great coaching.

I fail to see your point YankHardReelFast. I'm seeking information about a lake i'm not fortunate enough to have the time or resources to fish very often. How does that compare to someone who is defrauding the government. I have only known a few people personaly that have ever recieved any form of government assistance. They were miserable as heck throughout the experience.

I think seeking information is perfectly okay, this is a public forum, everyone can see it and thus use it.

Good luck, I hope you have great success.
