Heading to Waco for the first time this weekend to see what it's about, any ideas? Pm of you want, just wondering where to start. Is there a damn I can crank? Or grass pads to hit? I don't have the electronics to find deep structure or gps points.

Go towards the dam and find the bubbles, they're by the intake. Rattle trap.

But he's right, there are some largemouth mixed in with all the Whites in that area. I would recommend heading north and trying some of the coves on that size of the lake. There is also a lot of timber to flip and pitch on that side of the lake.

Lake actually runs south to north but the Bosque River enters up on the west end of the dam and this big arm is loaded with stumps to fish as you head up river. Good luck!

There's some big hybrids on the bubbles as well they'll give your bass gear a good workout!

Ok thanks guys, Ill hit the damn and any rocky shores with a sqaurebill and topwater early, then pull out the c-rig for a bit to test it out, then hit the bubbles after that. Assuming the fish hold around the bubbles all day, I figure it's best to hit that last.
