So after a nice nasty East Texas cold front. Feels like it's time to pull the jerk bait boxes out or I should be rigging decoys. Since this is a fishing forum let's hear it for favorite jerk bait. I'm talking about the one you would be shopping ebay for if they quit making them.

Rapala X-rap, Rapala original floater, and BPS suspending minnow. Just been this spring that I have really gotten confidence in jerk baits so I haven't tried too many. That's the list so far.

I like filling the deer feeders after a cold front, probably why I only own 2 jerk baits and have only caught one fish on them.

the shad at Fork seem unusally small this fall so I am going with a Lucky CRaft SP 78 in Tennesses Shad.

Lucky Craft pointer 100, ghost minnow

This bait will catch bass all day of all sizes, I have caught just about every fish in the water with it, even on accident my boat partner (lol)
