Guys,
I have a work trip to SA all next week and will be staying downtown. I wanted to see if there was anywhere within a 30 minute drive or so, that I can do some Flyfishing on the bank. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Crescent Bend Nature Park off of Shaffer Road in Schertz. Very fly fishing friendly. Also the Estrada Park section of the San Antonio River is good.

I used to fish the SA river down town down stream from the river walk in the kings William district neighborhood. Great fishing a few years ago. There is great bass fishing on the NE side of town at some ponds and live oak park. Good luck to you.
